PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To capture a long radiographic image by imaging at a plurality of imaging positions spaced at appropriate intervals without time and efforts when a kind or a direction of a radiographic apparatus to be used is altered in capturing the long radiographic image by capturing a plurality of radiographic images by moving the radiographic apparatus.SOLUTION: In performing long-length radiography for capturing a plurality of radiographic images at the plurality of different imaging positions to obtain the long radiographic image by moving a cassette housing 46 in a prescribed direction while an attachable and detachable electronic cassette 32 for acquiring the radiographic image of a subject 30 by detecting radiation that is emitted from a radiation source and transmits through the subject is loaded on the cassette housing 46, a length in the prescribed direction in an imaging region of the electronic cassette 32 loaded on the cassette housing 46 is specified to determine an interval between the plurality of the imaging positions based on the specified length, and the cassette housing 46 is moved to capture the radiographic image at each of the plurality of imaging positions spaced at determined intervals.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】放射線撮影装置を移動させながら複数の放射線画像を撮影して長尺状の放射線画像を撮影する場合に、使用する放射線撮影装置の種類や向きを変更しても、手間をかけずに適切な間隔を隔てた複数の撮影位置で撮影して長尺状の放射線画像を撮影する。【解決手段】放射線源から照射され被写体を透過した放射線を検出して被写体30の放射線画像を取得する脱着可能な電子カセッテ32がカセッテ収納部46に装着された状態でカセッテ収納部46を所定方向に移動させながら異なる複数の撮影位置で複数の放射線画像を撮影して長尺状の放射線画像を得る長尺撮影を行う際、カセッテ収納部46に装着された電子カセッテ32の撮影領域の上記所定方向の長さを特定し、該特定された長さに基づいて、複数の撮影位置の間隔を決定し、該決定された間隔を隔てた複数の撮影位置の各々で放射線画像が撮影されるようにカセッテ収納部46を移動する。【選択図】図1
