PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector of a buccal mucosa, which is easily manufactured, and is easily mounted inside an oral cavity of a user and taken out from the oral cavity without damaging the teeth or oral cavity of the user.SOLUTION: The protector of the buccal mucosa regulates the entry of the buccal mucosa of the user to between maxillary and mandibular dentitions, and includes: a first pressing body 3 which comprises a flexible sheet-like member connected through a connection part 2 and is arranged on the outer skin of the cheek of the user a second pressing body 4 which comprises a flexible sheet-like member and arranged between the maxillary and mandibular dentitions and the buccal mucosa inside the oral cavity of the user and a connection part 2 which connects the first pressing body 3 and the second pressing body 4, and holds the first pressing body 3 and the second pressing body 4 while the cheek of the user is held by the back surface of the first pressing body 3 and the front surface of the second pressing body 4.
