PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric so designed that fiber high-density regions and fiber low-density regions are formed so as to disperse in a planar direction and the liquid migration from a surface sheet to a liquid-absorbing form is not hindered, and the diffusivity of a liquid is low when the liquid permeates through the absorbing form, and to provide a method for producing the nonwoven fabric, and to provide an absorbent article using the same.
SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric 5 has a plurality of high-density regions 11 mainly composed of heat-shrunk heat-shrinkable fibers and a plurality of low-density regions 12 mainly composed of mutually thermofused thermofusible fibers, wherein the plurality of high-density regions 11 and the plurality of low-density regions 12 are formed so as to disperse in the planar direction in the nonwoven fabric 5, respectively.
