Provided is an intraocular lens insertion instrument that improves the operability of a plunger. The intraocular lens insertion instrument is provided with the following: an instrument body that comprises a housing section in which an intraocular lens is housed, and an insertion tube section for releasing the intraocular lens into the eye of a patient and a plunger that is movably equipped within the instrument body. A finger rest on which a user places a finger when the user moves the plunger is formed on the instrument body, and when the plunger is moved toward the insertion tube section side causing a pressing force to be applied to the housed intraocular lens by the tip of the plunger, the intraocular lens can thereby be released from the insertion tube section. The intraocular lens insertion device is configured such that the instrument body is equipped with a connection part for connecting, to the instrument body, an operability improvement member for improving operability relating to movement of the plunger.
