The tip rod (12) is formed of a short-fiber reinforced resin material (60) in which short fibers (22) are dispersed in a matrix resin material (20), the average fiber diameter of the short fibers (22) is 3 to 15 µm, the average fiber length of the short fibers (22) is 0.5 to 10 mm, and the content of the short fibers (22) is 3 to 50 wt%, and a periphery of the short-fiber reinforced resin material (60) is at least partially covered with a prepreg sheet (62) in which reinforced fibers (22) are aligned and extended in one direction and impregnated with a synthetic resin (20).
