The present invention relates to a foamy cosmetic material obtained by charging a stock liquid and a propellant in an aerosol container, wherein the stock liquid contains a powder selected from among the group consisting of a silicone-coated silica and a silica-coated silicone, and the content of the powder in the stock liquid is 5.0 mass% or more. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a foamy cosmetic material which is an extremely fine and smooth foam and which exhibits excellent foam stability. According to the present invention, it is also possible to provide a foamy cosmetic material which does not cause stickiness and which can impart a dry and silky feeling.
