PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical agent diffusing container capable of efficiently diffusing chemical agent.SOLUTION: A chemical agent diffusing container 1 comprises: a lid part 4 having a housing space 40 in which chemical agent 2 can be housed and has a diffusion hole 42 from which diffused chemical agent is emitted, on a peripheral wall 41； and a pedestal part 3 which mounts the chemical agent 2 thereon and closes a lower end opening of the lid part 4 housing the chemical agent 2. A gap A is provided between an inner surface of the peripheral wall 41 of the lid part 4 and an outer peripheral surface of the chemical agent 2. The outer peripheral surface of the chemical agent 2 is formed in a tapered shape spreading downward, an inclination angle &thetas；of the outer peripheral surface of the chemical agent 2 with respect to a vertical surface V is larger than an inclination angle &thetas；of the peripheral wall 41 of the lid part 4 with respect to the vertical surface V, and the outer peripheral surface of the chemical agent 2 separates from the inner surface of the peripheral wall 41 of the lid part 4 toward an upper direction.
