PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic laser operation instrument capable of presbyopia correction by performing ablation on a sclera of a patients eye with a laser beam. SOLUTION: The instrument is provided with a laser beam source for emitting a laser beam to cause ablation on the sclera, a light-guiding optical system for guiding the laser beam from the source to the sclera, and a laser control means for irradiating a region of a prescribed shape within a range of 0.5-5 mm from the contour of a cornea of the patients eye with the laser beam to cause the ablation. The presbyopia is corrected by partially reducing the sclera in thickness.
