Hardware resources and software resources related to video signal processing performed by a video signal processing device are distributed to a first partition and a second partition, minimal processing from among the video signal processing is assigned to the resources distributed to the first partition, processing from among the video signal processing that is other than the minimal processing is assigned to the resources distributed to the second partition, anomalies in the resources distributed to the first partition and the second partition are monitored, and only resources distributed to a partition in which an anomaly has been detected by the monitoring is reset.
