A braided hair washing method includes washing braided hair using a washing agent that includes a microbubble washing composition and microbubbles, the microbubble washing composition including a protease and a lipase. The braided hair washing method can conveniently and effectively wash braided hair without collapsing the hairstyle. In particular, the braided hair is dreadlocks. The microbubble washing composition preferably contains no surfactant and preferably contains an alkali metal salt such as sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium sulphate or borax.
