The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating metabolic syndrome containing an extract of unripe Rubus coreanus Miquel. More specifically, effective components of the extract of unripe Rubus coreanus Miquel controls the expression of an enzyme and a gene related to lipid metabolism； reduces the body weight, fat, glucose tolerance, neutral lipid (TG), cholesterol, and LDL-cholesterol； increases HDL-cholesterol； and prevents fatty liver. The extract of unripe Rubus coreanus Miquel promotes blood circulation, and can be usefully utilized for preventing and treating metabolic syndrome which can cause cerebrovascular diseases and heart attack.본 발명은 본 발명은 복분자 미숙과 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 대사증후군 질환의 예방 및 치료용 약학적 조성물 및 식품 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는, 복분자 미숙과 추출물의 유효성분이 지질 대사 관여 유전인자 및 효소의 발현을 억제하고, 체중, 지방 및 당 내성도를 감소시키며, 중성지질(TG) 및 콜레스테롤, LDL-콜레스테롤을 감소시키고, HDL-콜레스테롤을 증가시키며, 지방간을 억제하며 복분자 미숙과 추출물은 혈액순환을 촉진하여, 뇌혈환 질환 및 심장마비를 유발할 수 있는 대사증후군 예방 및 치료에 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
