PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spreader in which cost reduction is made possible in comparison with the case when switching a rotational speed of a rotating shaft with an exclusive transmission, and a space for arranging a speed changer is made unnecessary.SOLUTION: A spreader 5 includes: a rotating shaft 7 provided with a rotary blade for cutting waste culms a drive shaft 12 disposed in an attitude parallel to the rotating shaft 7 a first pulley 13 mounted to the drive shaft 12 a second pulley 14 mounted to the rotating shaft 7 and a transmission belt 15 wound around the first pulley 13 and the second pulley 14. The first pulley 13 and the second pulley 14 are constituted of pulleys with different diameters, and mountable to the drive shaft 12 and the rotating shaft 7.
