The present invention further relates to methods for treating age- and/or disease-related cognitive dysfunctions, or for impairing the memory of a subject. Finally, the present invention relates to recombinant VEGFD (rVEGFD) for use in the treatment of age- and/or disease-related cognitive dysfunctions.
