PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for determining a change of body condition of an individual.SOLUTION: A method for determining a change of body condition has the processes of: receiving a signal representing determination data on cardiac activity of an individual within a certain time from a signal monitoring system； and determining at least one signal feature element representing an element of a section in which the signal newly occurs within the time. The method also has the processes of: determining a first interval sandwiched between the two continuous signal feature elements； and determining a second interval sandwiched between the two continuous first intervals. A derivative is calculated on the basis of the second interval determined by the method, and a change of the body condition can be identified on the basis of the calculated derivative.【課題】個人の身体状態の変化を判定する方法及びシステムを提供する。【解決手段】ある時間内における個人の心拍活動の判定データを表す信号を、信号監視システムから受信する工程と、時間内において信号が再発生する区間の要素を表す少なくとも１つの信号特性要素を判定する工程を有する。さらに、前記方法は、２つの連続した信号特性要素どうしに挟まれた第１の間隔を判定する工程と、２つの連続した第１の間隔どうしに挟まれた第２の間隔を判定する工程を有する。前記方法によって判定した第２の間隔に基づいて微分係数を算出し、算出した微分係数に基づいて身体状態の変化を識別することができる。【選択図】図３
