The present invention relates to a mobile terminal equipped with bio-data and, more specifically, to a method for executing purchasing service for financial transactions or purchasing items by using the bio-data equipped in the mobile terminal. To this end, the mobile terminal comprises a storage unit which stores bio-data, which is feature information corresponding to bio-information； and a communication unit communicating with an external server. The communication unit transmits the bio-data to the external server and receives bio-data corresponding to the transmitted bio-information from the external server.본 발명은 바이오 데이터가 탑재된 모바일 단말에 관한 것으로 더욱 상세하게는 모바일 단말에 탑재된 바이오 데이터를 이용하여 금융 거래나 물품 구매를 위한 결제 서비스를 수행하는 방안에 관한 것이다.이를 위해 본 발명의 모바일 단말은 바이오 정보에 대응되는 특징 정보인 바이오 데이터를 저장(등록)하고 있는 저장부, 외부의 서버와 통신을 수행하는 통신부를 포함하며, 상기 통신부는 상기 바이오 정보를 외부의 서버로 전송하며, 상기 외부의 서버로부터 전송한 상기 바이오 정보에 대응되는 바이오 데이터를 수신한다.
