PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine harvester designed to prevent waste straw and/or mud at the basal end of a plant foot transmission pipe.SOLUTION: The combine harvester 1 includes a reaping/transmitting vertical pipe 19 extended from a traveling machine body forward and downward, the plant foot transmission pipe 22 raised from the front end of the reaping transmitting vertical pipe 19 forward and upward, and a plant foot conveying chain 14C for conveying the plant feet of reaped stem culms rearward.
