The fishing light control system is provided with: a fishing machine system having fishing machines for operating the fishing gear and a fishing machine control unit for controlling said fishing machines; a first fishing light system having first fishing lights configured from multiple metal halide fishing lights; a second fishing light system having second fishing lights configured from multiple LED fishing lights; and a control device for determining the catches of the fishing machines per unit time using load data obtained from the fishing machine system and controlling the fishing machine system, the first fishing light system and the second fishing light system on the basis of the determined catch.
