When the acetabular cup used for hip replacement surgery is fixed to the acetabulum using a screw, the drill guide device of the present invention has an optimal screw hole in the acetabulum for the acetabular cup. Used to position the drill bit to be properly positioned for proper implantation. The drill guide is locked to the acetabular cup by a spring-loaded pin that places the guide in the hole of the cup that houses the screw. The guide is used to position the drill bit and allow drilling.
