The present invention relates to a fungicide formulation characterized by comprising from 2 to 10% w/v of at least one fungistatic food additive selected from a group consisting of sorbates, propionates, benzoates, carbonates and bicarbonates, as well as any combination thereof. Likewise, is an object of this invention, a method for obtaining said formulation, as well as its use for treating at least one post-harvest product. Finally, it is an object of this invention a coating characterized by comprising the described fungicide formulation in its composition.
