PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a living-body wearable measuring apparatus capable of highly accurately measuring prescribed operations.SOLUTION: The living-body wearable measuring apparatus includes: a worn part to be worn on a living body such as a human body a detection part for detecting movements of a prescribed part (e.g., a part under the back of an ear) of the living body a measuring part for measuring prescribed operations (e.g., the number of mastication) on the basis of the movements detected by the detection part and a storage part for storing the detection part and the measuring part and configured to be detachable/attachable with respect to the worn part. The detection part can, for example, employ a ranging sensor, cause a light-emitting part to emit light, cause a light-receiving part to detect reflection light reflected from the prescribed part, detect a distance to the prescribed part, and output an electric signal (a voltage or current) according to the detected distance at prescribed sampling periods.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
