To provide a coupling metal fitting for cross pipe in which, both of a covering sheet for greenhouse and a coupling metal fitting which contact each other at a top part of a metal fitting for coupling a rafter pipe and a purlin pipe which are almost orthogonally arranged, can stand in long term use.SOLUTION: A rafter pipe 2 is pushed into a rafter pipe support part 31 for supporting the rafter pipe, a purlin pipe 1 is fitted to a purlin pipe support part 32, then a pipe fixing wedge 4 is driven in a direction almost orthogonal to the purlin pipe 1 to a back part of the pushed rafter pipe 2 in a non-contact space 33 between both the pipes 1, 2, then by pressing action of the wedge 4, both pipes 1, 2 are fixed and can be coupled.
