PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine improved in cooling efficiency by improving a routing structure of a wind power governor from a throttle shaft of a carbureter into a fan chamber.SOLUTION: In an engine work machine having a wind power governor 50 for operating a throttle shaft 41 by using power received from cooling wind produced by a cooling fan by a governor plate to keep a work rotating speed, an opening portion 12 opened from a carbureter 40 side toward a cylinder 13 side is formed on a cylinder cover 11, and a wind governor is disposed to guide wind from the opening portion to a cylinder chamber 28 and to route the same from the cylinder chamber to a fan chamber 24. As an orthogonal portion 56 connecting an arm 53 and a beam 54 is disposed inside of the cylinder cover, degradation of cooling efficiency can be suppressed. Further as an opening portion directly opened from the fan chamber to a carbureter side is not formed, air leakage from the fan chamber to the external can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
