PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article in which humidity of a waist panel is absorbed and which is not easily made stuffy as a result.SOLUTION: A diaper 10 includes front and back waist panels 20 and 30, and a crotch panel 40 attached to the front and back waist panels 20 and 30. The front and back waist panels 20 and 30 include inner surface sheets 21 and 31, outer surface sheets 22 and 32, and leakproof sheets 23 and 33 positioned between these sheets. The crotch panel 40 is joined to the front and back waist panels 20 and 30 through junctions 71 and 72, and the junctions 71 and 72 include both side parts 73 and 74, center parts 75 and 76, and non-joined parts 77 and 78. To the outer surface sheets 22 and 32 of the front and back waist panels 20 and 30, a moisture absorbing member 90 is attached. The moisture absorbing member 90 is arranged inside pockets 55 and 56 so as to overlap with the non-joined parts 77 and 78.
