PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a new acidic hair dye agent composition excellent in dyeing properties and operability.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the acidic hair dye agent composition comprises the following steps, (1) a step of dissolving an anionic polymer in an organic solvent and (2) a step of subsequently mixing purified water, an acid and an acidic dye with the solution obtained in the step (1). The anionic polymer includes, for example, a carboxyvinyl polymer. The acid includes lactic acid, citric acid, glycolic acid and the like.
