FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Disclosed is a method of producing a bioactive coating with bactericidal properties on an implant of titanium, which includes degreasing and subsequent activation of the surface of the implant from titanium. Coating is applied by electrophoretic deposition from electrolyte solution containing di- or tribasic acid, such as succinic, phosphoric, and monobasic acid, such as lactic or vinegar, chitosan and at least one antibiotic from a group of aminoglycosides, such as gentamycin, kanamycin or silver ions or silver nanoparticles in water, with the following ratio of components, wt%: di- or tri-basic acid, such as amber phosphoric acid – from 1.5 to 2.5； a monobasic acid, such as lactic or acetic acid in an amount which provides pH of 3.5–4.0； antibiotic of aminoglycoside group, such as gentamycin, kanamycin – from 0.15 to 2.0； or silver ions from 1*10-4 to 1*10-3 wt% or silver nanoparticles with concentration from 5*10-5 to 5*10-4 wt%； chitosan polymer – from 2 to 5； water – up to 100. Electrophoretic sedimentation is carried out at temperature of 20–30 °C for 1–5 minutes at current strength of 50–150 mA in automatic voltage regulation mode.
