An internal combustion engine driven device which for purposes of describingthis embodiment may be an electrical energy generator. The internal combustionengine may be a four stroke, two stroke with appropriate oil injection, singlecylinder air or liquid cooled engine, though larger types of engines may be utilizedas desired for particular applications. The internal combustion engine mayhave an inertial or pull type starter to initiate operation thereof and such enginesare readily available. In accordance with the principals of the present inventiona mounting plate is adjacent the engine and is coupled thereto in any suitablelocation such as to the crankcase or other portion of the internal combustionengine so that the mounting plate receives both heat from the internal combustionengine and is vibrated by the vibration of the engine.
