The invention relates to a vertebral fixing system mountable on a spinal vertebrafor connecting said vertebra to a rod (18) comprising a connection part (20, 22)connectable to said rod, an elongated flexible link (14) connecting said connectionpart to at least one part of the vertebra posterior arc and/or to a transverse processand /or to a rib, wherein said link comprises two free ends (50, 52), and adjustablelocking means (26) mounted on said connection part, which defines at least onethrough path (46) for said link in such a way that two distinct segments (42, 44)thereof are engageable into said through path in such a way that said two segmentsof the link define the first link part forming a loop (48) and extending from thefirst side of the connection part and the link second and third parts extendingfrom the other side thereof.
