The present invention is directed to a method forstabilizing a pharmaceutically active bi-cyclic compound offormula (I):(see formula I)comprising the step of: admixing the same with a polyoland/or a fatty acid ester other than glyceride and acomposition obtained by the method. Inaddition theinvention provides a soft gelatin capsule formulation ofthe compound of formula (I) obtained by incorporating thecompound in a soft gelatin capsule shell comprising gelatinand a polyol plasticizer.
