The present invention relates to a process for controlling the quantity of liquid dispensed by a device for the injection needle, such as a liquid for medical use, in which: - the injection device (2) in a dispensing position in which the liquid to be dispensed can flow in a receptacle (18) through a gaseous atmosphere, and the free end (20) of the needle (16) is not in contact with the container (18)； - it activates the injection device (2) for dispensing a dose of liquid to be dispensed in the container (18)； and - it moves the injection device (2) towards a wringing-out position in which there is a point contact between the free end (20) of the needle (16) of the injection device (2) and a wall (21) of the container.
