PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focus-detector system for an X-ray apparatus, which has an X-ray optical grid of small dimensions and simultaneously does not require a high degree of mechanical stability of the grid.SOLUTION: The focus-detector (F1, D) system for the X-ray apparatus for creating phase contrast images by projection or tomography imaging includes a beam source having a focus (F1) and a focus side radiation source grid (G0) which is arranged in a beam path and forms a coherent X-ray beam field for each beam, at least one phase grid which includes at least a detector device having a plurality of aligned grid-detector modules respectively disposed continuously in the direction of the beam to create a first interference pattern, an analyzing grid for creating the other interference pattern, and a detecting element disposed in a planar manner.
