This device is noteworthy in that it comprises a support (1), of which at least one part of one of the faces (11), called ‘top’ face, supports removable means (2) of fixing said thread (3), and in that said support (1) comprises means (5, 5′) of displaying technical characteristics specific to each suturing thread (30) and/or to each needle (30) to be stored.
