PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress device capable of increasing support force by increasing a contact area between a mattress and a body regardless of the body type of a bed user by lifting both lateral sides of the mattress.SOLUTION: The mattress device including a mattress 12 to be placed on a placement surface, the mattress 12 on which a user gets on, includes support cells 18 expansible/contractible by feeding/exhausting fluid, provided in the mattress 12 or underneath the mattress 12 at a position surrounding a prescribed area of the mattress 12 and, when the support cells 18 are expanded by feeding the fluid, are deformed so as to protrude a periphery of the prescribed area of the mattress 12.【課題】マットレスの短手方向両側を持ち上げてベッド利用者の体格によらずマットレスと体の接触面積を増加させ、支持力を増加させることができるマットレス装置を提供する。【解決手段】載置面上に搭載されるマットレス１２であって当該マットレス１２上に利用者が乗るマットレス装置において、マットレス１２内又はマットレス１２下部には、流体の送給・排出によって膨張・収縮が可能なサポートセル１８をマットレス１２の所定領域を取り囲む位置に設け、流体の送給によって当該サポートセル１８を膨張させたときに、マットレス１２の所定領域周囲が突出するように変形可能にしたマットレス装置。【選択図】図１
