It is possible to effectively treat moderate to severe visceral pain by administering analgesic medications comprising the opioid oxycodone or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. Visceral pain and especially acute (i. e. non-chronic) visceral pain can be effectively treated by administering oxycodone at a dosage which is lower than the corresponding dosage of other opioids like morphine.藉由投服包含類鴉片羥氫可待因酮(oxycodone)或其藥學上可接受鹽類之止痛藥物是有可能有效以治療中等至嚴重程度之內臟痛。內臟痛且尤其急性(亦即非-慢性)內臟痛可藉由投服比相應劑量之其它類鴉片如嗎啡更低劑量之羥氫可待因酮(oxycodone)而得到有效治療。
