PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedridden person receiving tool and a bedridden person shower bathing apparatus which allow even the head part of a bedridden person held in the receiving tool to be easily washed.SOLUTION: A receiving tool includes a shallow boat-shaped receiving tool body 3 which is elongated in the front/rear direction thereof and has a size slightly larger than the height and the shoulder length of a bedridden person 2. A half-moon-shaped pillow 8, the bottom surface of which touches the bottom of the receiving tool body 3, is attachably/detachably provided in the front part of the receiving tool body 3 so as to leave a space part 9 between the front end of the receiving tool body 3 and the front end of the pillow 8. A drainage channel 10 is formed so as to extend in the front/rear direction of the receiving tool body when the bottom surface of the pillow 8 is placed on the front part of the receiving tool body 3.
