PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device and a deodorizing method, capable of deodorizing the offensive odor caused by excreta of domestic animals in a barn.SOLUTION: A deodorizing chemical spray device 10 and a deodorizing chemical spray method include: dilution means 11 which creates a diluent by diluting a mineral-including chemical with a tap water to a prescribed concentration liquid delivery means 12 which delivers the diluent to a plurality of barns spray means 13 which sprays the diluent from the inner top of the barns to the floor in a state of drizzling rain and control means 14 which controls the dilution means 11, the liquid delivery means 12, and the spray means 13.
