PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility for the generation of the malfunction of a switching element when the voltage of a power source apparatus has been raised without changing the constitution of the power source apparatus or the constitution of a transmission driving pulse circuit.SOLUTION: When a target voltage of the driving pulse of the vibrator of an ultrasonic probe is designated from a control software, a difference setting section 22 acquires the difference between the target voltage and an output voltage value which is indicated for the power source unit at the present time, and sets a step number for which the difference is divided by a changing step width on a step number counting section 24. A voltage indicating section 28 changes the voltage indicating value which is indicated for the power source unit 12 for each cycle of a clock signal emitted from a clock section 26 by the changing step width from the present output voltage value. By properly setting the changing step width and the clock cycle, the voltage rising rate can be suppressed to a degree by which the malfunction of the switching element in a voltage increase does not occur.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】電源装置の構成または送信駆動パルス回路の構成を変更しなくても、電源装置の電圧を増大させた場合にスイッチング素子の誤動作が生じる可能性を低減する。【解決手段】差分設定部22は、超音波プローブの振動子の駆動パルスの目標電圧を制御ソフトウエアから指定されると、その目標電圧と、現在電源ユニットに指示している出力電圧値との差分を求め、その差分を変更ステップ幅で除したステップ数をステップ数カウント部24に設定する。電圧指示部28が、クロック部26が発するクロック信号の周期ごとに、現在の出力電圧値から変更ステップ幅ずつ、電源ユニット12に指示する電圧指示値を変化させる。変更ステップ幅とクロック周期を適切に設定することで、電圧増大時のスイッチング素子の誤動作が起こらない程度の電圧上昇率に抑えることができる。【選択図】図2
