The present invention relates to a surfactant, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a surfactant or a stereoisomer of a surfactant, and a pharmaceutical composition including the surfactant, for the treatment of conditions of the cervix/anogenital region and non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs). The composition may comprise an anionic or amphoteric surfactant, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or a stereoisomer thereof, wherein the surfactant comprises: a hydrophiiic moiety selected from the group consisting of a carbonate, a sulfonate, and a sulfate； and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
