PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article in which an absorber can be moved to an upper part when an upper end of a rear waist area is lifted to the upper part.SOLUTION: A rear waist area of a disposable diaper comprises a strip-shaped area 23 positioned in the skin facing surface side and extends laterally, and a pocket positioned at a non-skin facing surface side and capable of being opened downward oppositely to the strip-shaped area in the longitudinal direction in the central part in the horizontal direction. The pocket has a pocket outside area 43 extending from the crotch area side to the upper part, and a pocket inside area opposed to the pocket outside area and the strip-shaped area in the longitudinal direction, respectively, ranged with the pocket outside area through a bent part 33 extending laterally, and extended from bent part to the lower part and connected with the strip-shaped area. The rear waist area has a first fixed area 81A for fixing the strip-shaped area and the pocket inside area.
