PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively provide a flatcar with a shift gear designed to change a moving speed during a forward or backward movement via a single forward/reverse motor. SOLUTION: This flatcar having on its moving frame 3 a forward/reverse motor 5 and moving wheels 4 rotated by the motor 5 for running on rails 2 is structured by: employing only one forward/reverse motor 5; forming 2 transmission routes of a forward moving transmission route F and backward moving transmission route R between the output shaft 6 of the forward/reverse motor 5 and wheel rotating shaft 7 of the moving wheels 4; installing in the transmission routes F and R a forward moving gear 9 and backward moving gear 10 having respective one-way rotation-transmitting clutches 8 intended to rotate in opposite directions, respectively; and setting one of the transmission routes F and R to conduct a faster rotation transmission than the other.
