PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushion which permits the amounts of air in air cells to be adjusted even if no electric power is supplied from an external power source, and can softly support a sitters buttocks without unnecessarily raising the sitters sitting position.SOLUTION: The cushion has batteries 41 and permits the amounts of air in air cells 10 and 20 to be adjusted with no electric power supplied from an external power source. The cushion has spongy front end side supporting members 30 supporting the vicinities of thighs on the front side of a sitting surface against the air cells 10 and 20, and an electric air pump 50 and electromagnetic valves 61 to 67 are arranged below the front end side supporting members 30 to keep the batteries 41 interposed between the front end side supporting member 30 and the base member 40, so that electromagnetic valves 61 to 67, the batteries 41 never reduces the height of the air cells 10 and 20 by providing the electric air pump 50.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】外部の電源から電力が供給されていない状態においても各エアーセル内の空気量を調整することができ、しかも着座者の着座位置を無用に高くすることなく着座者の臀部を軟らかく支持することのできるクッションを提供する。【解決手段】このクッションは各バッテリー41を有し、外部の電源から電力が供給されていない状態でも、各エアーセル10,20内の空気量を調整することができる。また、各エアーセル10,20に対して着座面の前端側に大腿部の近傍を支持するスポンジ状の前端側支持部材30が設けられるとともに、電動エアーポンプ50及び各電磁弁61~67が前端側支持部材30の下方に配置され、各バッテリー41が前端側支持部材30とベース部材40との間に設けられていることから、電動エアーポンプ50、各電磁弁61~67及び各バッテリー41を設けることにより各エアーセル10,20の高さ寸法が小さくなることがない。【選択図】図1
