PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high strength, enable suppression of meandering and deflection during driving, and suppress mutual rotation of guide pipes as a peculiar problem caused if a circular cross section is provided.SOLUTION: A guide pipe 1 is formed by using a steel material. Therefore, strength is high, and it is possible to suppress meandering and deflection during driving as compared with those made of aluminum and those made of synthetic resin provided in the conventional technique. Furthermore, it is also possible to thin a diameter required to secure strength equivalent to those provided in the conventional technique. Therefore, the guide pipe or the device is also useful to decrease an area in which a shadow is formed in a situation of being open. Moreover, no circular cross section is provided, but a flat outer surface 1a is provided at least at a part. Therefore, it is possible to suppress mutual rotation of the connected guide pipes as a peculiar problem caused if a circular cross section is provided, and a mark is also given for a driving rope coupling part and/or an attachment direction of a curtain. Therefore, it is easy to perform attachment operation.
