PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heating method and device that performs Joule heating on a heating target object in plural electric conduction modes according to the type of the heating target object.SOLUTION: A heating unit has plural electrodes 21 to 27 and insulating cylindrical bodies 31 to 36, and also has a tubular member 20 having a feeding flow passage 20a. An electrode is connected to a power supply tap of a power supply transformer 40 through a power supply cable. A heating unit has a closest approach electric conduction mode for supplying electric power to electrodes which are adjacent to each other in a feeding direction and serve as a closest approach electrode pair, and a skip electric conduction mode for supplying power to a pair of skip electrodes which are paired through at least one of plural electrodes which is set as an electric non-conduction rest electrode, thereby making current pass through the heating target object and heating the heating target object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】被加熱物の種類に応じて複数の通電モードで被加熱物をジュール加熱し得るようにする。【解決手段】加熱ユニットは、複数の電極21~27と絶縁性の円筒体31~36とを備え、搬送流路20aが設けられた管状部材20を有している。電極は給電ケーブルにより電源トランス40の給電タップに接続される。加熱ユニットは、搬送方向に隣り合って最接近電極対となる電極に電力を供給して被加熱物を通電加熱する最接近通電モードと、複数の電極のうち少なくとも1つを非通電の休止電極として休止電極を隔てて対をなす飛ばし電極対に電力を供給して被加熱物を通電加熱する飛ばし通電モードとを有している。【選択図】図3
