PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide heating method and device that performs Joule heating on a heating target object in plural electric conduction modes according to the type of the heating target object.SOLUTION: A heating unit has plural electrodes 21 to 27 and insulating cylindrical bodies 31 to 36, and also has a tubular member 20 having a feeding flow passage 20a. An electrode is connected to a power supply tap of a power supply transformer 40 through a power supply cable.
