PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe capable of receiving a reflection wave with high efficiency and improving sensitivity and operational reliability even when variations occur in frequency bands of a transmitted ultrasonic wave.SOLUTION: A reflection wave of un ultrasonic wave transmitted from a transmission section using a piezoelectric type vibration element is received by a receiving section using a capacitance type vibration element. Use of the capacitance type vibration element provides a wider operating ultrasonic frequency band than use of the piezoelectric type vibration element and can accommodate a case where variations occur in frequency bands of an ultrasonic wave transmitted from the transmission section.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】送信する超音波の周波数帯域にばらつきが生じる場合であっても、効率よく反射波を受信でき、感度および動作信頼性を高めることができる超音波探触子を提供する。【解決手段】圧電型振動素子を用いる送信部から送信する超音波の反射波を、静電容量型振動素子を用いる受信部が受信する。圧電型振動素子を用いる場合に比べ、静電容量型振動素子を用いる方が、使用超音波周波数帯域が広いので、送信部から送信する超音波の周波数帯域にばらつきが生じる場合に対応できる。【選択図】図1
