PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer including a display part capable of rotationally turning a prescribed angle or more and, even when expanding a turning range, securing the safety.SOLUTION: A display part 10 and a base part 20 are coupled with each other via a turning adjustment hinge 30. The turning adjustment hinge 30 freely rotationally turns up to a prescribed angle so as to be able to freely stop at stepwise angles and, at the prescribed angle or more, rotationally turns via resistance increase means 324 and 341 by which resistance of sliding surfaces 302 and 304 of the turning adjustment hinge become larger than resistance at the prescribed angle. Thereby, unless a certain amount of load is applied thereto, the display part 10 does not move at the prescribed angle or more. This configuration can thus prevent the display part from being turned over by the own weight with an increase in the turning range.
