The conventional method of cracking cashew nut shells is a laborious and tedious work. Due to this, a cashew nut shell cracking device is developed. This device consists of a base frame where all other parts are mounted a handle hingely connected to a joint and to the guide bar a cutting mechanism, further comprising a set of upper blades, lower blades and rubber cashew holders a pedal connected to the rubber cashew holders for releasing the cracked cashew nuts and a chute for collecting the cracked cashew nuts.
