The present invention relates to: a novel compound having an anti-viral activity, more specifically a pyridone derivative having an HIV integrase-inhibiting activity； and a medicine, specifically an anti-HIV drug, which contains the compound or the pyridone derivative. The compound according to the present invention has an activity of inhibiting integrase in a virus, particularly an HIV and a resistant HIV and/or an activity of inhibiting the proliferation of cells of the virus.
