PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding lawn mower equipped with a front mower the length of which is compacted in the front and rear directions of the whole machine body.
SOLUTION: The riding lawn mower is equipped with a mower 6 in front of the machine body 2 and collects grass cut with the mower 6 from a chute 21 through a duct 20 in a container 16 by pneumatic conveying force with a blower 17. Front wheels 3 and rear wheels 4 are driven with power of an engine 12 through a traveling driving system composing a power transmission mechanism in a transmission case 24, respectively and the power is transmitted from a blower driving system composing the power transmission mechanism to the blower 17. Since the large-volume blower 17 can be arranged amidst the pair of front wheels 3 and 3, the overall height of the lawn mower can be suppressed to a relatively low value. Since an HST is arranged at the rear of the power transmission mechanism and in a downward position of an input shaft, the front and rear length of the machine body 2 is shortened from that of conventional techniques.
