PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a plant cultivation device in which the number of light-emitting elements can be reduced.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation device is configured by connecting a plurality of seedling raising units 2 in series. The seedling raising unit 2 has a case 5 whose both ends are open and which is capable of covering a peripheral surface. A tray installation table 12, a conveying device 15, a lighting device 16, and a water feeding/discharging facility 17 are provided in the case 5. The cases 5 of the seedling raising units 2 are connected to form a series of cylindrical spaces, cultivation trays 38 are placed in the cylindrical space, and move to a downstream side across the cases 5 by conveying means. The lighting device 16 has a daytime space forming part 310 where light-emitting elements 205 are provided and a night-time space forming part 311 where the light-emitting elements 205 do not exist. The cultivation tray 38 enters regions of the daytime space forming part 310 and the night-time space forming part 311 by fixed time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】発光素子の数を減らすことができる植物栽培装置を開発する。【解決手段】複数の育苗ユニット２が直列に接続されて構成されている。育苗ユニット２は、両端が開放され周面を覆うことが可能なケース５を有している。ケース５内に、トレイ設置台１２と、搬送装置１５と、照明装置１６及び給排水設備１７が設けられている。育苗ユニット２のケース５が連結されて一連の筒状空間が形成され、栽培トレイ３８は、筒状空間に置かれ、搬送手段によってケース５を跨いで下流側に移動する。照明装置１６は発光素子２０５が設けられた昼空間形成部３１０と、発光素子２０５が存在しない夜空間形成部３１１とを有する。栽培トレイ３８は一定時間ごとに昼空間形成部３１０と夜空間形成部３１１の領域に入る。【選択図】図１
