PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment agent composition which can suppress damage of hair and exhibit a good wave and can be used under acidic pH conditions.SOLUTION: There is provided a hair treatment agent composition which comprises thioglycolic acid, an organic acid and/or phosphoric acid and an organic acid salt and/or a phosphoric acid salt and is acidic. Thus, the hair treatment agent composition can be used under acidic pH conditions and can sufficiently suppress damage to hair, and further can exhibit a good wave.
