A blood pressure measurement device 100 includes: a blood pressure information calculating section 11 which calculates blood pressure information every pulse based on a pulse wave detected by a pulse wave detecting section 10； and an acceleration sensor 12 which outputs information according to motion of the wrist of the person to be measured, detects a change time period when the wrist position is largely changed, based on motion information output from the acceleration sensor 12, and generates blood pressure correction information for correcting blood pressure information which is calculated by the blood pressure information calculating section 11 after the change time period, based on blood pressure information which is calculated by the blood pressure information calculating section 11 before and after the detected change time period.
